So, I get up ready for work, and then the first mistake I made was going outside.

Why did I go out side, you ask?  Well, to go to my car so I can go to work.

Well, that was the mistake.  I smelled the perfectly sweet, almost cool, perfect 68 degree air. I could taste the change of seasons in each molecule of air that went in my body, feel the flow of seasons and the energies of the Earth as she goes between her personas.

I could see it in the perfect Robin's blue sky, not a cloud floating nearby.  In the leaves as they cast their morning dew aside, unrobing themselves for the glorious sunlight as Sol rose. In the grass of the lawns freshly mowed in yester-eve's shadow.

I drove with utmost beauty in my face.....

Then I got chained to this fucking computer to write about it! :P

Can I go out and play now?

I know what you're saying. Those of us who are more "in tune" with our surroundings and nature can usually "sense" the change in the air and the coming of Autumn and Fall followed by Hallows/Samhain ;-)

How to describe that smell? It drives me insane. You know it when you smell it, a whiff here and there around this time of year, when the world is not quite ready for fall, but it's coming regardless. A hint, just a taste. But how to describe it?

You have my permission to go play, and revel in the changing seasons. Go to the woods, and shed your clothing to dress yourself in the fallen leaves....just be sure to take your camera and get plenty of pictures ;)
